You probably won’t live long enough to get through everything they offer. The concept is exactly the same as Satellite Direct – you know, 24/7 access, no hardware to install, no sweaty assed installer, and just a one-time fee with no monthly subscriptions.
You can immediately start streaming HDTV channels for free all over the world. Stream Direct has around 420 US channels, and 420 UK channels, plus hundreds upon hundreds of other channels around the world.
For some reason, I find their coverage of Africa and the Middle East is particularly good, and this is where you get to see stuff you would not normally see on Western TV channels. Also, what I like about Stream Direct is that you’ll find totally unlisted channels keep popping up, you never know what you might find. If you want radio channels Stream Direct doesn’t have them, but it’s an easy and intuitive software ideal for channel surfing.
Like Satellite Direct you have the full choice of the kind of programs you like to watch and you can tune in whenever you want, be it Westerns, Action, Dramas, News, Sports, Chat Shows, Sci Fi, music of all genres, news from around the globe, all that good stuff.
The cost for Stream Direct is $49.95, good choice for global channel hopping but bear in mind there are no radio stations with this package. If that’s important go for Satellite Direct.

You’ve got programs being streamed the world over. You can watch some of the most popular channels in the World (MTV, ESPN, National Geographic and thousands others) as well as local channels of different countries including India, Egypt, Australia and many others with all the usual variety of programs you might want, be it news, current affairs, comedies, movies, dramas – some good, some laughably bad. The tuning software is simple and user friendly too.
This is clearly not as heavy a package as the other two software packages, but if you don’t want to pay so much and you want the option to update for free in the future, Online TV Software could be a good consideration.
